As promised, here we have our video interview with Nikon’s Jon LaCorte, who is taking Steve through the many cool features on the latest additions to the Nikon Monarch 3 and Nikon Monarch 5 binoculars series.
We first got our hands on the Nikon Monarch 3 last fall, and they’ve been a huge success. Hunters love them for their premiere glass, amazing prisms, quality construction and reasonable price, so it was great to see them at this year’s SHOT Show.
The other new binocular from Nikon is the Monarch 5. We just recently added these binoculars to OpticsPlanet, and they are already looking like a favorite for 2012. The prism transmits 8% more light than the already spectacular prism in the Monarch 3, so you’ll get a really bright image, and they’re also very reasonably priced.
